A film about the impact of the first year since the full scale invasion on young Ukrainians in Kyiv. This project aims to provide as much space as possible for Ukrainians to tell us what they have on their hearts and minds.

The film chronicles the captivating and occasionally tumultuous life of Jiří Lauscher, the first employee of the Israeli Embassy in Prague, as recounted by his daughter, Ms. Vidláková.

Commercial video production
I have extensive experience as a solo filmmaker, taking care of every step of the production, but I’m also used to working on individual steps as part of a bigger production or inviting other freelancers from my network to my own projects.
Apart from this I’m also producing animated explainer videos together with illustrators and voice actors, where I’m responsible for clarifying communication needs, writing the script and also handling the animation.

Technical Showreels
You’ll notice the absence of a dedicated “Editing showreel”. I suggest you watch any of the videos I produced in full length, if you want to get an impression of my storytelling style. Editing, after all, is the art to tell a story with moving pictures in time. To take tiny bits out of their context and mix them with tiny bits from other projects will not tell us anything about how the editor was working with story arcs, suspension, resolution and relief.
