Eduard Germis is a Prague-based filmmaker and photographer.

His style focuses on finding the connecting themes which turn images into stories, striving to build narrative within every project. He considers himself a jack of all trades behind the camera, experimenting with different styles and concepts while building a library of skills to draw from.

In addition to working with individuals and companies, Eduard contributes to the Czech film collective Remízek, which draws attention to the connection between local social issues and our increasingly damaged ecological systems through documentary work. Before that he has also spent 2 years fully embedded in the Czech climate movement, documenting protests and contributing to the documentary movie "Grief".

In any project, he aims for storytelling as much as style, finding the connecting theme that brings meaning to a subject.

He's originally from Germany, but has spent 10 years already in Prague. He's also fluent in English and Czech and conversational in Ukrainian.
